About The ADHD Philosopher
This is where philosophy meets neurodivergent thinking. I'm Emma Gat, a certified ADHD coach and philosopher, exploring the big questions that arise when you think differently.
You won't find productivity tips or life hacks here. Instead, I examine assumptions, question frameworks, and dig into what it actually means to live authentically with a brain that works differently than most.
My writing draws from both philosophical inquiry and real coaching conversations. I'm interested in the deep stuff: identity, attention, what we assume about "normal" thinking, and how we define a life well-lived.
Sometimes I write about ADHD specifically. Sometimes I explore broader questions about how we think, learn, and exist in the world. All of it comes from the perspective of someone committed to questioning rather than accepting easy answers.
This is philosophy for brains that think differently.
